After that, the Macbook rebooted and there it was, the new moving start screen with the fields of the famed wine region Sonoma. Usually, these updates don’t break much and I have never had to revert an update – nevertheless, security first! Installation took only 20 minutes. Because I wasn’t sure if everything would work, I did a Time Machine backup before the process in case any problems would arise.
